Emailnya was created by a solo developer to solve a simple yet frustrating problem: **modern email marketing editors are designed to lock you in.**
The Problem We Solve
If you want to design a beautiful, responsive email template today, you generally have two choices:
- Adopt a massive ESP platform like Mailchimp or Brevo, linking your credit card and subscriber list to their visual editor just to design a single letter.
- Write raw nested HTML table code, or learn developer-focused frameworks like MJML or React Email.
Emailnya is the bridge. It provides a drag-and-drop builder for non-developers, but spits out clean, production-ready output (HTML, MJML, React Email, or JSON) that fits any tool you already use.

What Emailnya is NOT
We focus entirely on the design layer. To maintain our privacy promises:
- We are NOT an Email Service Provider (ESP): We never store your contact mailing lists or send bulk emails.
- We never store your API keys: API keys for Resend, Brevo, Mailchimp, or AWS SES remain in your browser storage and are strictly sent in-transit for proxy requests.
- No accounts required: All templates are saved locally inside your browser's index storage.

Emailnya is built by the creator of **FileSwift**—inheriting the same privacy-first and open-source values. Every single line of code in the editor and Chrome extension is open source, audit-friendly, and free.
