Gmail Extension Guide

The **Emailnya Gmail Extension** bridges the gap between the visual builder and Gmail. It lets you compose responsive layouts inside the browser and inject them directly into your Gmail email bodies without copying code.

Privacy First GuaranteeOur extension is fully open-source and local. It stores templates locally in your browser storage and never collects tracking data or sends code to external servers.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Install the Extension: Download the extension from the Chrome Web Store (or load it as an unpacked extension under developer mode from the /chrome-extension folder).
  2. Sync Your Design: Open the Emailnya Editor. Any layout you create is automatically synced into your local extension storage.
  3. Open Gmail: Navigate to your Gmail account and click the Compose button to write a new email.
  4. Click the 🎨 Button: Look at the formatting bar at the bottom of the compose window (next to the Send options). Click the colorful 🎨 icon.
  5. Select and Inject: Choose either the **Active Design** (untracked) or select a **Recent Campaign** to inject the template with active click/open counters. The layout will load instantly at your cursor position!
